Broken Roads & Sidewalks
Every year, hundreds of people are injured as a result of tripping on a broken sidewalk or from an accident caused by an unsafe road. Michigan law requires the governmental agency in charge to maintain and repair the sidewalk and/or road. If the agency fails to do so, and an injury results, the law allows the injured person to obtain damages.
